About the Department
The whole range of building materials is supplied through this department, including ceramic tiles, natural stones, wooden products, glass building materials, exterior products, steels, and ready-mixed concrete.
In addition to selling domestic and imported products in Japan, the department operates globally by exporting Japanese quality to overseas and cross-trading wood chips and raw materials for the ceramics industry.

As the building market in Japan has continued to slide in recent years, we have sought to expand overseas by participating in exhibitions to show the superior quality and design of Japanese ceramic products and glass building materials.

- The Kowa Collection presents selected ceramic interior/exterior decoration materials and glass building materials for overseas markets under the concept of "Decorative Modern." The collection encompasses premium products having the superior quality and design that are characteristic of products made in Japan, and that can complement buildings and architectural designs in overseas market.

- Pigments and other materials for ceramics are exported for marketing and sale to ceramic tile and sanitary ware manufacturers in Southeast Asia.
Tripartite Trade
- Wood chips, Raw materials for Ceramics
- We trade wood-chips made in Australia and Thailand, which are the raw material for pulp, to paper-making companies in China and Taiwan.
Also we deal the sericite (raw-material) from China to the sanitary-wares manufacturers in Southeast Asian countries.
Further we start sales of, the large dump truck, construction-equipment, as well as relevant items, for coal-mine use in Australia.
